For someone in their corner

You don’t need to have all the answers.

Someone trusts you enough to ask for support. Start by listening. This guide is free and needs no account.

Ask what would help

“Would you like me to listen, distract you for a few minutes, or help you find support?” Let them choose. You don’t need to solve everything in one conversation.

Keep a difficult moment small

Offer a short call, a walk, or company while they close a gambling app. Agree on a specific check-in time you can keep. Avoid blame, threats, or promises that things will be easy.

After a setback

Thank them for telling you. Ask what support they need next. Their previous effort still matters. Encourage professional support if they want help making a plan.

Respect both people’s boundaries

You can care about someone without lending money, taking control of their accounts, or becoming their only support. Be clear about what you can offer and seek support for yourself too.

What Banked shares

Banked does not send you automatic alerts, reveal private notes, or give you access to their record. They choose and send each message through their own messaging app. You can simply reply there.

When more help is needed

If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Find gambling, peer and crisis support without installing Banked.
